Recipe for Success - Business Bootcamp Sept-Oct 2024

Are you giving yourself the best chance of success?

  • Are you finding high quality clients?
  • Are you winning your pitches?
  • Do you wish your business were more profitable?
  • Are interactions with clients sometimes scratchy?
  • Do you feel undervalued? Overstretched?
  • Does your business control you, when you should control it?

There is no magic bullet to success in interior design practice. All the most successful designers constantly strive to improve their skills and performance.

They are consistent and work to build strength in their business across all fronts.

This five-week bootcamp addresses the typical challenges that face young interior design practices by focusing on five key areas of business and personal performance:

  • Managing your time
  • Managing your clients
  • Managing yourself
  • Managing the design process
  • Managing your business

As part of a small group you’ll work to analyse your current levels of achievement and identify areas for improvement, and I will help you create and launch your improvement plan.

As the group will be mixed in terms of experience, all teaching will start from first principles.

What you'll get:

  • 3 hours of live group classes each week, 90 minute sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
  • 1 hour 1:1 with me each week, working on your development plan
  • Practical, tangible strategies to improve your business performance across multiple fronts

What I need from you:

  1. open-minded determination to try new approaches
  2. positivity
  3. energy
  4. a total of 5+ hours per week time commitment during the course timeframe (3 hours taught, 1 hour homework, 1 hour 1:1)
  5. complete and submit the pre-course ‘getting to know you form’

Will this course help me? The bootcamp is for designers with at least two years practice experience, and who wish to push their business up a level, to hone tradecraft and management skills, and increase business profitability.

Dates: The course will run during working hours between 17th September and 17th October 2024.
